DESCRIPTION: This small deluxe and intimate resort was completely refurbished in 2005, and now has some of the best facilities and accomodation found in the Maldives. The excellent beaches, luxury accommodation and wonderful restaurants make this island extremely popular with couples and honeymooners. The island has its own house reef, ideal for snorkellers and diving entusiasts of all abilities, as well as a shallow blue lagoon ideal for windsurfing.

ACCOMODATION

Recently refurbished, the island has 76 villas furnished to a very high standard.

Deluxe Villas are spacious wooden villas surrounded by the island vegetation within a few metres of the water's edge with a private wooden deck overlooking the beach. They have air conditioning; ceiling fan; mini-bar; tea and coffee making facilities; CD player and a telephone; bath and separate garden shower and terrace.

Baros Villas are larger than the deluxe villas and have a beachside terrace. They are equipped with an additional four-poster bed, DVD/CD player and television

Water Villas have the facilities of the Baros Villas and are built on stilts over the lagoon with a large sundeck and steps down to the water.
