DESCRIPTION

An attractive resort offering a good standard of accommodation and an excellent house reef,the distance to the house reef is roughly about 20m, the distanceto the outer reef is roughly 30m.The island is good for diving and other water sports aswell as reading a book on the beautiful white sandy beach. The island in Length is about 450 m, width 270 m.

ACCOMMODATION

The 60 indigenous styled non air-conditioned and air-conditioned bungalows offer en-suite facilities with cold fresh water, for a total of 92 rooms. 48 of these rooms are standard, 26 are superior and 18 are superior with air-conditioning. All 92 beach front rooms are suitably located just a few meters away from the waters edge that in turn, compliments the atmosphere of the island.

The Classic rooms are linked two by two and have a bedroom, bathroom, telephone, table, some chairs, an adjustable ceiling-fan, a refrigerator and an air-conditioning unit. These rooms have a covered terrace with two chairs, a table and last but not least an umbrella marked with your room

number. On the your terrace you will find a water tap to wash sand off your hands, feet and belongings.

The Comfort rooms are very luxurious, with standard air-conditioning (operated by remote control), an electronic safe and coated glass windows. The bathroom also has a bathtub and hair dryer. The room also has a writing table and a regular table with chairs. The Comfort rooms are linked per two or four rooms (so 1 or 2 stories)

The rooms of the Water bungalows are fitted with all conveniences. From the balcony you can enter the crystal clear water via a staircase. At the end of the staircase a shower is fitted to rinse the salt of your body when you come out of the water.

DINING

The main restaurant at Fihalhohi offers some of the best cuisine in the Maldives, including a variety of chicken, fish, and meat dishes. Food served on the island is extremely good and varied. A large selection of specialized national dishes served alternatively, making sure that food does not become monotonous either.

Almost every Friday a Maldivian buffet is organized.Relax and enjoy your favorite cocktail in the bar or lounge area situated on the beach overlooking the sea.

Fihalhohi is certainly an angler's paradise with a resident deep sea fishing boat that has logged its fair share of excellent catches. She has got an excellent house reef close the beach for the snorkelers for their snorkeling adventure.
